Joshua Victor is the CEO of Cartrack South Africa, a technology-driven smart mobility solutions provider servicing 1,2 million customers across South Africa.
Joshua completed his articles at Grant Thornton and after qualifying as a CA(SA) joined Cartrack in January 2019 in a financial analyst role. He has been a part of Cartrack’s incredible growth story for the past four years.
From early on at Cartrack Joshua showed his operational prowess, together with his analytical thinking, problem-solving and leadership qualities, rising through the ranks and being promoted to different executive positions within the company. Joshua was promoted to CEO in November 2021 at the age of 30.
Joshua is a results-driven CEO who provides strategic and operational leadership to improve business processes – achieving results through his hands-on approach. He is committed to providing inspiring leadership that encourages every employee to put their best foot forward every day.
Cartrack South Africa has surpassed 1,2 million customers and has a workforce of over 2 500. Joshua is proud to be a part of a company that continues to be adding so much value to its customers and solves so many challenges within the South African community.

He enjoys driving Cartrack’s strategy forward to solidify Cartrack as the market leader with the end goal always being of giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of Cartrack’s customers.
As a firm believer in community development, particularly among young people, Joshua is proud of Cartrack’s in-house accredited training programme that provides opportunities for our community’s unemployed youth to become qualified, skilled and experienced through formalised programmes and workplace exposure.
In his personal capacity, Joshua volunteers pro bono as a paramedic, responding to life-threatening emergencies.
