Founder of Mdunge and Company and Little Miss Sunshine Foundation

Nolwazi Mdunge has a passion for serving humanity and impacting lives positively. She is the founder of Little Miss Sunshine Foundation (2020) which aims to promote early childhood development and women empowerment and address the social ills in society. To date, the foundation has directly impacted more than 500 lives through the projects executed. She was recognised for the work she does for the foundation in 2022 when she was awarded the Women of ABASA 2022 NPC Executive of the year and invited to attend the One Young World Summit held in Manchester, UK. She is a member of the Chartered Accountants Worldwide FinBiz2030 South African task force under SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth. She is also a member of the Golden Key Society. In 2014, the University of KwaZulu Natal named her Top 40 most inspiring student of the year.

Nolwazi is the founder of the start-up company Mdunge and Company (currently operating three e-commerce brands, namelyNana & Co, MduBenjamin and Khulile), which she started with the objective of helping reduce unemployment in South Africa. This passion is evidenced by her completion of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) programme in Business and Entrepreneurship Development as a young leader committed to transforming Africa. She also sits on the board of African Rock Investments.

She began her career at KPMG, where she was afforded the opportunity to work in London on secondment and later joined corporate.
